This release focuses on Director enhancements for smoother session management and a fix for large file processing that was causing job failures. The compositor also gains snapping for precise layer alignment.

## Snap viewport layer moves to frame and other layers

When moving a layer in the compositor viewport, it now automatically snaps to the output frame's edges and center, as well as to other visible layers at the current playhead. Guide lines appear to show the alignment, and holding the Alt key disables snapping for freeform placement. This makes it easier to precisely position elements without manual pixel-perfect adjustments.

## Sets opens at the button, Load Set or Save Set first

The Sets interface in Director has been redesigned to open as a popover directly above the Sets button, keeping the action close to where you initiate it. The composer's Sets button now opens a menu letting you choose between Load Set and Save Set first. Set names have more room to display and can wrap to two lines, with full names visible on hover.

## Past sessions get Open and a menu with Delete

The past sessions list in Director now features a clearer action flow. Each session row shows a prominent blue Open button alongside a menu (⋯) containing Load Session, Frames Only, and Delete options. Deleting a session requires confirmation, helping prevent accidental removal of your work.

## A click on a cue's slot opens replace and remove; a press drags

Director's cue slots are now more interactive. Clicking a filled slot opens a menu to replace the file or remove it, while pressing and dragging allows you to move the file to another slot. The enlarged preview now only appears after hovering for a moment, reducing cursor interference during drag operations.

## Quality of life

-   **On the canvas:** Tabs now slide and stack like macOS Finder when they exceed the available width, keeping all tabs accessible without a hidden menu.
-   **In Director:** Compositor generations now complete automatically without needing to visit the jobs page.
-   **In Director:** A failed start now provides more specific error information and keeps the session loaded for retry.
-   **In Director:** Cue slots are larger to fill the card layout better, and Normal mode openings now show a Last Frame slot.
-   **In Director:** The composer now accepts files dropped anywhere on the direction row, including on the Target Audio and Last Frame slots.
