# How to run TRELLIS and TRELLIS.2 without a GPU

**How can I run TRELLIS and TRELLIS.2 without a GPU or a local install?**

TRELLIS and TRELLIS.2 have open weights, so you can run them yourself, but you need the hardware: a Linux machine with a 16GB (TRELLIS) or 24GB (TRELLIS.2) NVIDIA GPU. Without a GPU, the simplest route is a hosted version. In OTOY Studio, TRELLIS and TRELLIS.2 run in the browser from 2 credits (€0.02) per run, with nothing to install, on the same canvas as 100+ other image, video and 3D models.

Microsoft's image-to-3D models. They turn a picture into a textured 3D asset. TRELLIS.2 is a 4B model with PBR textured meshes.
