# How to run TripoSR without a GPU

**How can I run TripoSR without a GPU or a local install?**

TripoSR has open weights, so you can run it yourself, but you need the hardware: about 6GB of VRAM, or a much slower CPU fallback. Without a GPU, the simplest route is a hosted version. In OTOY Studio, TripoSR runs in the browser from 2 credits (€0.02) per run, with nothing to install, on the same canvas as 100+ other image, video and 3D models.

**Run it yourself if:** Almost any machine with a 6GB GPU can run it, so if you only need TripoSR, running it yourself is easy.
