This release introduces a new developer gateway API for external integrations and adds the ability to drag and reorder tabs in the navigation strip.

Developer Gateway API

A new API is now available for external integrations, allowing approved partners to use Studio as a backend for generations, billing, and storage. This gateway implements a specific contract for external MCP servers, providing endpoints for job submission, status polling, result retrieval, and account management.

Key capabilities include service key authentication, OAuth user attribution, and a complete billing system that charges the end user’s account. The API supports job deduplication, cancellation with refunds, and permanent file storage. All generations run through the same execution engine as the main app, ensuring consistent results and reliability.

Drag to Reorder Tabs

You can now rearrange tabs by dragging them to new positions in the navigation strip. As you drag a tab, the surrounding tabs will slide apart to create a visual gap showing where the tab will land when dropped. The strip automatically scrolls when dragging near either end, allowing you to access tabs that are currently off-screen.

Dropping a tab into the gap places it precisely in the new position with a smooth animation. This provides a more intuitive way to organize your workspace and prioritize frequently used projects.
