This release introduces a new mobile composer, expands the Director with live script control, and adds the latest Marble and MiniMax video models. A new MCP tab helps connect AI assistants to Studio.

Mobile Composer

A new /create page offers a phone-first interface for generating images, videos, and 3D worlds. It features simple modality tabs (Image, Video, 3D), a Fast/Best quality choice, and template shortcuts for common prompts like “Cinematic clip”. Reference image uploads and live credit estimates are integrated, with results viewable in a touch-orbitable splat viewer for 3D outputs.

Live Scripts in Director

The Director console now allows switching to Scripted mode while a session is live. Build a script with timed cues and use the new Run script action to send it as a single replace command. The script lands on the next video chunk and its cues are tracked from that point forward. The cost pill in the top bar now displays the running total of credits spent during a live session.

H3 Max Video Node

A new H3 Max video node from MiniMax is available, offering text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-to-video generation. It includes a Turbo tier toggle for faster, lower-cost generations in text and image modes. The node supports soundtracks by pinning generated audio to a provided audio clip.

Marble World 1.1

The 3D generation suite is updated with a Marble World 1.1 node, featuring Standard and Plus quality tiers for generating larger worlds. The original node is now labeled Marble World 1.0 and displays the official World Labs branding.

MCP Server Instructions

A new MCP tab in the Account modal provides setup instructions for connecting the OTOY Studio MCP server to AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude, including the server URL and client-specific steps.

Quality of life

• On the canvas: Failed job toasts now name the specific node and offer a Show node action to locate it.
• In the compositor: Generate a matte for any video clip directly from its context menu, with the result auto-wired to the clip.
• Asset library: View controls (grid/list, zoom) and media type filters are now one-click toggles in the toolbar.
• The empty compositor page shows an onboarding modal with options to load, upload, or generate starting media.
• Queue panel thumbnails are larger for easier preview.
