v3.61.0
Studio adds a major new image generator and expands real-time capabilities in this release. The Director console now keeps frames and tracks organized in a Tray, while the video editor gets its own tab layout.
FLUX 3 image generation
FLUX 3 from Black Forest Labs is now available as a dedicated node, supporting both text-to-image generation and image editing based on reference images. The node automatically switches mode depending on whether you connect reference images (1-10 for editing) or leave them empty (for generation).
It offers full parameter control including aspect ratio selection (Auto + 14 presets), resolution tiers from 512×512 to 4K, prompt expansion, safety tolerance, and output format (PNG/JPEG). The model produces one image per run without seed control.
Director console Tray
All frames, tracks, and live stills now live in a unified Tray docked under the composer. The tray provides persistent storage for files you’re actively working with, with a collapsible band that remembers its open state and height.
Each thumbnail offers context-sensitive actions based on the current composer view—start frame, end frames, audio tracks, or cue placement depending on whether you’re in the opening phase or working on a scene. Live stills taken during sessions now remain available in the tray and can be saved permanently to your library.
Video editor tab navigation
Under the tabs layout, editing video clips now opens in a dedicated /video-editor page with its own topbar tab, matching how photo editing works. The trimmer remembers your edits when switching between tabs, and saving sends the trimmed video back to your chosen project as an Import node.
Real-time Lucy 3.6 VTON
Lucy 3.6 VTON joins the real-time virtual try-on lineup, available as both real-time session and queued job nodes. The latest model from Decart brings improved try-on quality while maintaining the same interaction patterns as previous versions.
Activity usage view
The account modal’s Activity tab now shows credit usage with filters for time range, workflow, source (Runs or Director console), and team credits. A donut chart visualizes spending by model, while the history table remains available for detailed review.
Quality of life
- Older Lucy VTON models now route to Lucy 3.5 for continued service after provider retirement
- Real-time nodes can now fork to other real-time-compatible nodes
- Image nodes default to PNG output format for better quality preservation
- Selection toolbar optimizations for better screen reader support and layout stability
