How to restyle a video with AI

How do I turn a video into a different style, like anime or claymation, with AI?

Use a video-to-video restyle model. It keeps the motion and timing of your clip and changes the look, using a prompt or a style reference image. Decart Lucy Restyle 2 is the lowest-cost option, Luma Ray 3.2 video-to-video restyles with a prompt and reference images, and Kling O3 and O1 Video Reference apply a reference image to your footage.

The lowest-cost option here is Lucy Restyle 2, from 9 credits (€0.09) per run. Credits are OTOY Studio's currency: 1 credit = €0.01. Prices are list prices before plan discounts (paid plans take 10% to 25% off every run). Every model is on every plan, including Free.

How to do it in OTOY Studio

  1. Upload the clip.
  2. Make a style frame: take one frame of the clip and restyle it with an image model until you like the look.
  3. Add a restyle or video reference node, and connect the clip and the style frame.
  4. Run it. If the style drifts, shorten the clip or use a stronger reference.
