How to get readable text in AI images
Which AI image generator is best at putting text, logos and typography in images?
Use a model known for typography and put the exact words in quotes in the prompt. Ideogram 4.5 is built for legible text, posters, titles and packaging. GPT Image and Nano Banana Pro also render text well. Short lines come out more reliably than paragraphs.
Models that do this

The lowest-cost option here is GPT Image 2.5, from 1 credits (€0.01) per run. Credits are OTOY Studio's currency: 1 credit = €0.01. Prices are list prices before plan discounts (paid plans take 10% to 25% off every run). Every model is on every plan, including Free.
How to do it in OTOY Studio
- Write the prompt with the exact text in quotes, for example: a poster that says "OPENING NIGHT".
- Describe the type: font style, weight, color and where it sits.
- Run the prompt through all three models and compare spelling first, then design.
- Fix any leftover letters with an edit model or in the built-in Photopea.
