How to run TripoSR without a GPU

How can I run TripoSR without a GPU or a local install?

TripoSR has open weights, so you can run it yourself, but you need the hardware: about 6GB of VRAM, or a much slower CPU fallback. Without a GPU, the simplest route is a hosted version. In OTOY Studio, TripoSR runs in the browser from 2 credits (€0.02) per run, with nothing to install, on the same canvas as 100+ other image, video and 3D models.

Stability AI and Tripo's fast single-image 3D reconstruction. It turns one photo into a mesh in under a second on a GPU.

Hardware The README says the default settings take "about 6GB VRAM for a single image input". It runs on CUDA if available, and documents a CPU fallback.
Operating system Any OS with Python. A GPU is optional but much faster.
ComfyUI No native support. Community nodes exist.

Run it yourself if: Almost any machine with a 6GB GPU can run it, so if you only need TripoSR, running it yourself is easy.
