How to make a 3D model from a text prompt

How do I generate a 3D model from text with AI?

Describe the object and run a text-to-3D model. Meshy and Hunyuan3D generate textured 3D models from text in OTOY Studio. You get a mesh you can download, retexture or drop into the 3D scene editor. For more control over the look, generate an image of the object first and use image-to-3D.

How to do it in OTOY Studio

  1. Write a prompt that describes one object: shape, material and style. Leave out the background.
  2. Add a text-to-3D node, connect the prompt and run it.
  3. Preview the mesh on the canvas, then download it or retexture it with Meshy 5 Retexture.
  4. To light it and render a camera move, use "Build a scene around it".
